Teaches: Cello

A Las Vegas native, Caroline Bell began playing cello at age 11 in the public school system. She earned her Bachelor's of Music Performance from the University of Arizona in 2020, studying in Dr. Theodore Bucholz's cello studio.

She got her start teaching with the university's String Project, a program providing lessons and ensemble classes to Tucson's youth, while balancing a full class schedule and starting her performance career in Southern Arizona. She also developed a passion for contemporary music during her studies and performed a new quartet work, "Circular Lines" by composer and mathematician Stephen Thelen, in a masterclass with the acclaimed Kronos Quartet.

An active performer as well as educator, Caroline can be found performing throughout Pima County for groups such as Arts Express, Sierra Vista Symphony Orchestra, and Southern Arizona Symphony Orchestra.

In her spare time she enjoys movies at The Loft Cinema, reading, and playing with her cat Sashimi.
