Jordan Robison

Teaches: Trumpet, Trombone, Baritone, Euphonium & Tuba

Relocating to Tucson in 2015 to pursue doctoral studies at The University of Arizona, Jordan Robison thrives off the rich culture of music and arts that Southern Arizona fosters. You can regularly catch him in diverse performance settings as principal trombone of the Sierra Vista Symphony Orchestra, bass trombone with the Century Room Jazz Orchestra, and even solo euphonium with the Old Pueblo Brass Band. Additionally, he is often engaged locally with the Tucson Pops Orchestra, Tucson Repertory Orchestra, Southern Arizona Symphony Orchestra, and Tucson Symphony Orchestra, as well as the pit orchestras of Arts Express Theatre, Southern Arizona Performing Arts Company, Broadway in Tucson, Arizona Theatre Company, Arizona Repertory Theater, Desert Christian Schools Musical Theater, and Christian Youth Theater. Recent performance highlights include backing up The Temptations, Grammy Award-Winning trumpeter Danny Jonokuchi, and an Arizona tour of the Midtown Men Holiday Hits, led by stars of the original cast of Broadway’s hit show Jersey Boys.

 

Jordan holds an M.M. and a Professional Performance Certificate from the Lynn University Conservatory of Music in Boca Raton, Florida, as well as a B.M. from the University of Redlands at his hometown in Southern California. He currently serves as the Lessons &  Outreach Director for Instrumental Music Center, where he also enjoys a position as Private Instructor for brass instruments. In his free time, Jordan enjoys the wonders of air conditioning in the desert, contemplating life beyond our cosmic horizon in an ever-expanding universe, and hanging with his two pups.
