Flexible Group Ukulele Sessions: Join When You Can! Experience the joy of playing the ukulele with our flexible drop-in group lessons! While we offer a comprehensive 8-week course, we understand that life can be busy. That’s why our sessions are available on a class-by-class basis, making it easy for you to join whenever your schedule allows. Course Highlights (Drop-in Friendly): - Master ukulele fundamentals and techniques - Explore melodic and rhythmic playing styles - Learn popular songs and how to read music and tablature - Develop improvisation skills and music theory knowledge - Discover fingerstyle techniques for ukulele - Participate in group performances and jam sessions Each session is designed to be valuable on its own while contributing to a well-rounded ukulele education. Whether you can attend one class or all eight, you’ll benefit from expert instruction and a supportive community of fellow musicians. Join us whenever you can and elevate your ukulele skills! Whether you're picking up the ukulele for the first time or looking to enhance your skills, this course offers a structured yet flexible path to becoming a confident ukulelist. Join us for an engaging experience that combines expert instruction with the fun of playing in a group setting! ----- Group Ukulele Class Syllabus: Week 1 - January 27th: Fundamentals of Ukulele (tuning, vocab, posture, basic techniques, different kinds of ukes, etc.) Week 2 - February 3rd: Playing Melodies (playing basic melodies, scales, sheet music and tab, etc.) Week 3 - February 10th: Playing Rhythm (strumming patterns, basic chords, singing and playing, etc.)  Week 4 - February 17th: Playing Songs (playing full songs, learning all parts, playing together, etc.)  Week 5 - February 24th: Improv (using scales and chord knowledge to improvise, benefits and uses, playing together, etc.) Week 6 - March 3rd: All About the Right Hand (fingerstyle vs pick, different patterns, utilization, etc.) Week 7 - March 10th: Uke as a Solo Instrument (using basic theory for chord/melody arrangements, how to harmonize a melody, etc.) Week 8 – March 17th: Jam/Future Study (open mic, group playing, next steps and additional resources to keep learning, etc.) ----- Class fees are non-refundable
