What is Instrument Coverage?


Instrument Coverage is available to players who have paid off an instrument rental or who have purchased a band or orchestra instrument from Instrumental Music Center.


Instead of waiting for the unexpected to happen you can pay a flat fee at the beginning of a year-long period making it easier take care of your instrument's needs as they come up without the sticker shock that comes with unplanned repairs and maintenance.



Who should get Instrumet Coverage?


Instrument Coverage is perfect for students who are a little clumsy and may need repair work done more than average, gigging professionals who regularly need their workhorse instrument maintained and adjusted, or any player dedicated to the long term health of their musical instrument.

How much does Instrument Coverage Cost?


$199 per year

Piccolo, Flute, Bb Clarinet, Trumpet, Cornet, Flugelhorn, Bell Kit Snare Kit, Trombone, Violin, Viola


$249 per year

Oboe, Bass Clarinet, Bassoon, Saxophone, Horn, Baritone, Tuba, Cello, Double Bass



What services are included with Instrument Coverage?


Maintenance: Adjustment/regulation, intonation, chemical cleaning of brass instruments, rotor adjustment/string, springs, corks, pads, pegs, bridges, soundposts, & more


Damage: Dents, bends, cracks, splits, & more


Repairs: Re-pads, new tenons, replacement of broken parts, re-carving pegs/bridges, regluing open seams, & more



How do I sign up for Instrument Coverage?


In order to start the process we need to inspect the band or orchestra instrument you paid off or purchased at Instrumental Music Center in-person at our shop to make sure it's in good shape.


From there we can fill out the necessary paperwork together and get your instrument covered.
