A small, welcoming space to play, practice, and grow
Not every stage needs to be big.
Some of the most important moments in music happen in smaller rooms, with a handful of people, where it’s okay to be a little nervous and still show up anyway.
That’s what our Final Friday Open Mic is about.
A Different Kind of Open Mic
This isn’t a packed venue or a loud bar.
It’s a small, intimate setup right here in the IMC store:
A keyboard
A couple of microphones
A supportive room
Simple on purpose.
Because the goal isn’t to impress a crowd. It’s to get comfortable being seen and heard.
Who This Is For
This space is built for:
Lesson students who are ready to try performing
New musicians building confidence
Locals who want a gentle entry into the music scene
Anyone working up the courage to share their sound
If you’ve ever thought, “I’m not ready yet…”
This is where you come to get ready.
What This Is (and What It Isn’t)
This is a soft launch space.
A place to:
Try out a song
Work through nerves
Practice performing in front of others
Learn how to take up space
This is not a full band showcase or a high-production venue.
We keep it small and intentional so it stays:
Low-pressure
Welcoming
Focused on growth
The Vibe
Supportive. Respectful. Encouraging.
People are here to listen, not judge.
It’s the kind of room where:
First-timers are welcome
Mistakes are normal
Progress is celebrated

Why This Matters
Every musician has a “first time.”
The first time playing in front of someone else. The first time singing into a mic. The first time sharing something unfinished.
Those moments shape everything that comes after.
This space exists to make those moments feel possible.
Come As You Are
You don’t need a polished set. You don’t need to feel “ready.”
You just need to show up.
Whether you play or just sit in and listen, you’re part of building a local music community that actually supports people as they grow.
We’ll see you on the final Friday.
