How to Book The Black Iris [Tucson Cafe]

Stage view of the Big Bad Wolf Bar and Grill

The Black Iris opened its doors in April 2024 at 340 N. Fourth Ave., immediately catching attention with its blend of American comfort food, classic cocktails, and a hidden, speakeasy-style bar tucked away in the back. Owners Thomas Struck and Scott Noble have transformed the space into much more than just a place to eat.

Step inside and you’ll find walls lined with original comics and Disney art—a nod to Struck’s decades-long career as a comic book store owner. The menu, handcrafted by Noble, features all-day breakfast and dinner classics, including their standout biscuits and gravy, breakfast sandwiches, chili cheese dogs, and burgers.

Whether you’re looking to book a show, host an event, or just enjoy a memorable meal, The Black Iris Café offers a fresh take on what a neighborhood spot can be.
