local spotlight znora band tucson

Noah Martin is a musician from Tucson, AZ. Living his whole life in southern Arizona, Noah’s sound is full of the life and death of the desert.

Noah’s genre is a mix of alternative and grunge, mixing the raw emotions and vocals of classic alternative with the heavy and abrasive riffs of grunge. Noah’s band showcases Aaron Beck on bass, Diego MacKean on lead guitar, and Chris Martin on drums.

Noah Martin's music and band is a powerful force where each player adds their secret to the formula, a perfect storm for amazing shows and great listening.

We asked Noah 5 questions about their experience as musician in Tucson. Here's what they said:

What's your favorite venue to play in Tucson?

My favorite venue to play in town is tied, either Club Congress or 191 toole. Both venues are extremely professional and kind. They always help as much they can for the show and try to be as accommodating as possible for the artists. To both staffs thank you so much for making the experiences amazing.

What's the funniest thing that's happened during a performance?

I would say the funniest thing that’s happened was falling on my back or butt from moving around too much and jumping around, a problem I still have.

What's your first memory as a musician?

My first memory as a musician was watching "A Hard Day's Night" with a little acoustic guitar, trying to sing all the songs along with the movie.

What's your favorite song to perform?

My favorite song to preform at the moment is a new one called "Broken Tongue." It’s a very personal song for me and it serves almost as an anthem for me at the moment.

What's the best advice you've ever received?

The best advice I’ve ever received was to never be threatened, or afraid to work with other musicians and collaborate, and to just enjoy every little thing you can. It’s a marathon that has a lot of hard points, but if you break it down into enjoyable little sections it’s a lot easier.
