This time of year usually two thirds of IMC's staff is in Anaheim California at the NAMM show finding new products, taking classes, and rubbing elbows with other music industry professionals. This year, due to COVID-19 restrictions, the NAMM show has been moved to an entirely online experience, and our staff has been doing all of those same things from the safety of our store or their homes. Monday January 25th 10am Pacific Time (11am Tucson time) Join IMC in watching our owner Leslie Stirm present her pick on the panel of judges at the NAMM Best in Show Awards LIVE! What is the NAMM Show? NAMM = National Association of Music Merchants Show = the awesome convention they organize What does that even mean? This is the one time every year where brands like Yamaha, Pearl, and D'Addario are in the same room with the people who sell their products (music stores like IMC), and the people who use their products (amazing musicians like Dolly Parton, and our staff)! NAMM Best in Show? Every year at the end of the show a panel of judges decide which new products, innovations, etc. are awarded recognition on a national level. Wait... IMC's owner is on that panel? YES! She's been selected as a judge for the last few years and this year was no exception! IMC is one of NAMM's Top 100 Music stores, and Leslie has been a figurehead for mom and pop music stores for several years now in the music retail industry. She rocks! How do I watch?
